In WoW I'm part of a small Monday Night Instance group. We have me (shadow priest), Mym (mage), and B (shammy). We also have two online buddies, Janet (either her healing priest or resto druid), and Woav (prot warrior). We have a great time running together, and it works out rather well. Sometimes we'd get together a couple of times a week.

Then I decided that I wanted to drag Mym into Kara, so the best plan in my mind was to use our group and build a Kara raid around it. Thus our Thursday Night Kara raid was born. Janet suggested a healing Paly we like, and the rest I snagged from a different raid I had tanked that was being de-emphasised. By no means overgeared people, but people I like, and would want to spend an entire evening with. We can get you gear, we can't make you competent and fun to be with. And lordy, has Kara been a loot pinata for some of these people.

Last night the raid group I put together stomped through Kara, looting and pillaging the entire way.

Started at 8:20 on the Huntsman with nine people (Striga's lovely, but not really reliable), picked up the tenth for Moroes, skipped Maiden and Netherspite, and one shot everyone else, including rather abusive moments with NightBane (didn't this used to be tough?) and the Prince ("Wohali? Yer dead again?"). Finished exactly at 11:30.

Mym wants to know when we're going to stick our noses into ZG. Heh.
