2013 fire season is upon us

Boise, the capital of Idaho, is about 2.5 hours away from my house. 2 hours, if you're my sister. Right now there are four fires burning between here and there. 250,000 acres have burned. 200 head of cattle have been lost. Numerous outbuildings (meaning no one lives in them) have burned. Crews from all over the country have been dispatched to help

Hope they all come home safe!

A family friend died years ago fighting wildfires and my friend was close to one of the firefighters that died in AZ recently doing the same. Is crazy dangerous. Will definitely keep your dad and all those out there in my prayers!
