i totez agree with all of your points on the church's stance on gay marriage (and jane eyre haha). catholicism is based on accepting others, and this kind of hypocrisy fits right in with extremist antisemitic Christian groups, that willfully ignore how Jesus himself was Jewish. the irony being, that the catholic church protests such behavior and convictions. and hopefully, the passing of this legislature will prove to be the catalyst for increased tolerance and eventually acceptance in the years to come.

who's fr. ike? i hate him. yeah 'hate'. i was always TOLD that gay marriage was unaccepted in the church because it was illegal in state legislation and it is our right, as law-abiding christians, to follow the law.* so, now that the ban is lifted, why is it unacceptable?
