I know exactly what you mean about the sporadic work. That's why of Rob and I, I've always tried to have a steady paycheck to balance his. He makes more in one day than I do in a week but in slow months having my check come in to pay the electric isn't something to take for granted. I hope you at least don't have the same issues we do constantly waiting for clients to get around to paying.

Congratulations on the engagement though! That's exciting, and if you make your gown I'm sure it'll be stunning.
