Today is 9/11. It does not seem like it's been 7 years. I went to New York in the Spring of 2002 and visited the WTC Memorial. I have never cried so much in my life, before or since. Uncontrollable bursts of tears. I didn't know anyone in the towers that day, thank god, and I remember not really knowing why I was crying so much. But I cried. I

It's been a tough summer this summer that's for sure, and to top it off with the remembrance of 9/11. It's only been what 6 years? That's still pretty fresh if you look at our history. We're still doing movies about other huge events like Pearl Harbor, the Titanic etc...etc... events that had such an impact that we still study, celebrate and remember for decades. So - cut yourself some slack.
