Foolish (drabble)

He closes his eyes and tries to put a face to it. He can see it, longs for it to be real, but when he opens his eyes again, the jaw is too narrow, the smile too wide.

Christian knows it’s foolish. Mark is gone for good, and Daniel will never replace him. As a driver, maybe, with time. But never as a lover, never as his lover.
