did anyone show you how to use that thing correctly? the first time i tried it i hurt my back. then someone showed me i wasn't positioned on it correctly, and after taking their advice, it wasn't nearly as painful to use. anyway be careful! I kinda prefer the calf raise machine that is at a semi-seated angle. much less stress on your spine.
yeah, i'm pretty sure i was using it correctly, my trainer was at my side and made sure my hips were against the pad thing and everything. my calves were just hurting like nobodys business the next day. and when i went back to use it again, i was scared, but i did it anyway! and my calves actually don't hurt much today :-) i think what happend was i used it that first day at 20lbs, and last time i did it at 10lbs...and so it was easier.
