Today was fantastic! Let me share my joy!
I'm so sorry for the lack of posting, darlings. It's been a crazy couple of weeks with the new job (and they still haven't backfilled me yet, eep). If I owe you an email, beta job, smoke signal, meme (I haven't forgotten, aredblush, I just need to figure out how to code these pics), I promise, it will get done! But prob not till the weekend because doing two jobs has sort of taken over a lot of my time. =/ But! I finally feel like I'm more on top of things so to celebrate, here are some pretty things!

♥ The H50 finale has been on my DVR all summer long but I have no true desire to watch it for some reason. It's a really weird feeling. What do you guys think? Do I need to watch it? Should I just ask one of you for a recap and start watching the next season since I am lazy it starts next week?

♥ I won two books from a book blog! \o/ This pretty much never happens to me, which just makes it that much more awesome. :) I won an ARC of seanan_mcguire's One Salt Sea and a copy of Deadline (aka zombie bloggers #2). And since my copy of hitRECord RECollection Volume 1 arrived on Tues, I feel like I'm rolling in all the goodies this week. So, so happy.

♥ Today is Tom Hardy's birthday!! Happy birthday, THard! You are a constant joy and delight, Mr. Hardy, and I promise it's not just because you have a really nice face (although I appreciate that, too). Thank you for existing! I hope you never stop doing what you love and hugging everyone.

So! I've attempted to code this so my own comments are **magically** hidden. You don't really need to see those since it's already clear I like the story if I'm reccing it right? Another vision of us by laliandra - (TSN, Mark/Eduardo, R) - In which there is a merry band of con-people called the F. Well, merry until the fucking Winklevii take their greatest asset, the facebook. As if that wasn’t bad enough, their only chance of getting it back requires bringing back their estranged team member. Eduardo Saverin (of the Miami Saverins) is a con-man extraordinaire, weather dork, sometime cat burglar and Mark’s ex best-friend (it totally counts if you only say that when they were unconscious).
Pizza and a movie by Closer - (Suits, Harvey/Mike, R) - In an alternate universe, Harvey's still a lawyer but Mike's not a pot runner -- he's a deliveryman for Rollo's Pizza and Ribs, which happens to be Harvey's favorite pizza place. Once Harvey finds out his pizza guy is a genius, Mike's life takes a few turns he would not have expected...
down the road and to the left (it's never been any further) by brilligspoons and paper_tzipporah - (Criminal Minds, genfic, PG13) - Spencer Reid is turning 12 and about to graduate from high school, but he’s finally made friends: there’s JJ, the soccer-playing, straight-A student who used to drink too much; there’s Penelope Garcia, the pigtailed hacker who wears the brightest-colored clothes Spencer’s ever seen; there’s Derek Morgan, the football player who defends him from the other jocks; there’s Emily Prentiss, the friendliest goth in town (not that there are many in their small, rural town); there’s Dave Rossi, in his second attempt at senior year - but only because he refuses to finish his missing PE credits. And there’s Aaron Hotchner - Hotch - who just wants to date Haley Brooks, but doesn’t have the faintest idea how to do so.
High school is hard enough as it is, but on top of that, someone is drugging and raping girls at parties. As they learn more about the attacks, it becomes clear that Spencer holds the key to figuring out who is responsible, and saving one of their own.
