We will not speak of just how far down the Pacific Rim rabbit hole I have fallen. :DDDD But, of course, because you know me & my love for broken soldiers with PTSD issues, Raleigh/Chuck has become my kryptonite and has literally been ALL I have been writing for the past 4 weeks since I first saw the film. (3 fics posted already, so many more in various stages of completion, it's a sickness & I don't even care.)

Also, thanks for the Slevin rec. I somehow missed it back when Yuletide happened & I love that film with the force of a MILLION suns.

THAT FIC. Oh man, that fic. It's amazing. It's probably one of the best things I've read in any fandom and while I'm sad that a lot of people probably will pass it by because it's not a shippy story, I'm also wary of reccing it because it's so dark. I'm so happy that I can fangirl all over it with you! \o/

Long time no see! I haven't gotten around to watching Pacific Rim yet but I want to *so much.* It's definitely a planned Bluray purchase at our house. I've continued writing fic, working, writing a novel, getting one published (there's a link to it on Lulu on my stickypost at my journal, or you can find it at Hunt Press' website. I'm MK French there) and occasionally dipping my toes into other fandoms. I'm done with my Inception reversebang fic and I may do a big bang this year. Maybe. Plots kind of escape me right now, and 20k of nothing is not something people will enjoy.

I've continued writing A/A, Ari/E and A/A/E while you were away from LJ. I still lovethem so. I just didn't have the ridiculous output I did when I started out in the fandom. At some point I can try revisiting the kinkmeme. my usual beta also isn't as fast on the turnaround as she used to be, which slows things down when i get stuck. Unless you're free to bounce ideas off of again?

Hooray for writing! I have a lot less free time than I used to, and I already promised to beta some things for a friend of mine so I really can't, but there are definitely still great betas around.
