The week of Hades is finally over and I have actually found the time to update this thing. This week really has been quite horrendous. I spent every waking moment studying only to do horribly on my pathopharmacology test. But I think I did fairly decent on my test today so we'll see! laura, everything you said was dead on. The UN man replied, "People will see it on the news and think to themselves how horrendous it all is. Then they will go back to eating their dinners and do nothing about it." Yeah, that's the saddest part ... what drives me crazy is how we see color skin and not just beautiful human beings. I really believe that we disregard a lot of what happens in the world cause they're not like us. I knew a lot about rwanda before seeing the movie, and while seeing the movie, I absolutely lost it. I lost it in every way imaginable... crying, yelling, hitting, being pissed off, laughing while crying, praying -- i got on my knees and prayed, almost walking out, turning my face around cause i couldnt handle it anymore.... I had to get away from everyone. Knowing that you care, really helps put me back to pieces. I have found my mission in life

Well I'm glad you've found your mission in life. The movie basically made me want to quit school and move to some foreign country to help with whatever possible. Life is frusterating sometimes I suppose...

I could say something profound since it was a pretty serious post, but there is enough depressing stuff that I see all around me daily here so I will say...

Be careful skiing! No one who goes in my family ever comes out unscathed.

I arrived back from skiiing still in one piece and quite unscathed. Thankyou for your concern however. Let me know if you want any certain special treat in your birthday package I will be sending! I know it's not like for another month, but I imagine it takes a while to get over there! Muah!
