What a shame... You should post this on tripadvisor so other people don't make the same mistake.

Driving in Spain... the only way to do it is to have a vehicle both bigger and more dented than theirs - that way the other drivers are very keen to avoid crashing into you, and you don't mind if they do! And as for satnavs' understanding of Southern Spain - mine once directed me down a riverbed (no exaggeration) to a city that didn't exist...

Still, you're home now and Tangiers sounds lovely. Would like to see some photos if you have 'em?

Funny how we got two completely opposite experiences. For us it was complete paradise and we can't wait to return.
