It has been 8 months since I moved to London and somethings have surprised me. For example my daily commute is now quicker and much less hassle than it was when I was in Manchester ( Read more... )

I'm so glad you're so happy.

Which reminds me - we were going to come and visit. Practically speaking, I think we're limited to the latter half of May, but can do either Saturday or Sunday. We wouldn't stay over as sleeping and me are awkward partners atm and strange beds are something I'm avoiding. Tbh even ordinary beds are something I'm avoiding, as I've spent the last few nights purposefully sleeping on the sofabed as it sags in the right places to accommodate my "fuller figure". Let me know if you're likely to be free and we'll sort something out, otherwise we'll never get down to see you!
