I really would like to try and make iced coffee at home, since I love it in the summer and it would be considerably less expensive than hitting up the Starbucks next to campus every morning (not that I don't love my iced vanilla lattes, and they know me there already ( Read more... )

I'll say I have my paid account 89% for the icon space.

And I don't know anything about iced coffee, but I love awesome crazy-ass storms!

Exactly. Didn't have the heart to give up my BSG icons, and yet I had icons from other fandoms itching to be used. Simple solution!

Mmmm, iced coffee! That's pretty much all I ever order at Starbucks anymore.

I've made my own iced lattes at home by just using the very strong drip coffee we normally make. They're not quite good, admittedly.

You could let the grounds sit like that in a French press, I suppose, but you'd have to get used to somewhat grittier coffee.

I'm not sure how helpful any of that is, lol.

I love being able to have icon space, so I completely understand the need for a paid account. :)

Thanks for your input! Unfortunately I suspected that making iced lattes using drip coffee wouldn't be all that great... which is a huge bummer because it would be convenient.

I hadn't even thought of the French press route, but I don't have one, and I'd probably buy an espresso maker before a French press. So for a while I suppose I'm back to Starbucks? (Twist my arm :P)
