It would be awesome if you could come here and study Finnish! I absolutely hate hate hate when money comes between people's dream - my own ones too.

I KNOW. >.< I need some first-hand immersion, I think, to learn the language properly! Even when I used a translator, I still can't ever figure out what anyone's saying! I try, though. :)

I can imagine the difficulty, I try to study german on my own but the studying doesn't seem to go anywhere. :/ And when using online translators they don't recognize the dialect and then mess around. I write finnish with a strong dialect myself (more or less) so the translators probably have no clue what I'm saying...
