Oh and right I had a real comment but I forgot it. The scariest bit of this to me isn't that they'd get him or he couldn't get out, or even that he wouldn't be able to harm himself - that it seems like it would be the preferred option to him says a lot about the character and the sitaution, and is pretty creepy.
