Least he's up front about it.  Never had a problem with meaningless before. Used to be the ideal. Not anymore, but I had something else and threw that out, so maybe more's not what I'm after, either.

I already kind of went safjkhsksummary on tumblr, so as to what I didn't post on tumblr:

The saddest thing I think about all of this is that (from my possibly flawed read) they're not necessarily upset at each other, just what each other have come to represent.

Lar wants something meaningful (if that meaningful thing would be Shias coming back going I LOVE YOU HAVE SOME CAKE that would be ideal) but he knows he doesn't want it with Vorrick probably maybe definitely almost certainly. So it's not that he's upset that Vorrick basically rejected the idea of that so much that he doesn't have a chance of that right now with anyone. Though Vorrick being an ass probably doesn't help
