Documented, i assume? You need un appareil photo. (Of course, it would be probable that the airbag has lost its deployment capability, given the condition of said vehicle.)

But I believe (of course relying on the meager 5-yr-old memories I may have) that I rode sans-a-belt in the front seat of our 1951 Ford for several years --- and many after that w/ no seat belt. Of course there was less traffic, more responsible drivers, etc.

And only minor forgetful moments from the brain damage.

I don't remember either your parents or mine being involved in any fender benders while we were kids. Maybe just selective memory. Of course the evening drives we used to do around country back roads with the kids in the back of the pickup truck would cause Child Protective Services to be knocking at the front door these days.

Document it. Photos are best. I'd also advise a consult with your attorney about what would constitute proper documentation if you can afford it.

Therein lies the rub. I got le no money.

I am broke.

If I have enough documentation I will report to CPS...but I don't know how that will turn out.
