We're going Friday morning to look at it and put down the deposit. They're holding the date for us until then.

Uh, YEAH, I plan on putting you to work! That's part of the maid-of-honor duties, after all. ;)

Actually, I think we're hiring a wedding coordinator, so there may not be much for you TO do until the wedding gets a bit closer...but don't worry, I'll let you know if I need anything! LOL!

OMG that is so unbelievably gorgeous! You know, Southern brides ARE lucky when it comes to planning a weddings. We had our wedding in the chapel at USM and our reception in a historic home. ::so excited for you::

I know, I'm totally in love with it! There were so many beautiful places to choose from...we looked at several historic homes, but this one won out in the end. It has special significance because I grew up right down the street and used to daydream about what it would have been like to live there. And now I get to get married there! *so excited*

OH...dunno if you're a Florida Gator fan, but we're watching them kick some serious butt right now! Yay for the SEC! It's the ONLY time anyone will ever hear me say...GEAUX GATORS!! Lol

Ahhh! Can't ya'll leave June 9th?? I'm pleading! I am sticking my bottom lip out and making puppy dog eyes and everything.

YOUR wedding is less than four months away! Better get on that! ;) Let me know what I can do to help, and I will certainly pass on any tips I get from the planner!

Yeah I thought mine was six months away when my mom informed me that June 8 is less than FIVE months away (I never was too great at math). I almost had a nervous breakdown. There's a lot more that goes into this than I thought!

Are ya'll still planning to have your wedding at your parents' house? or in NOLA?

Hi. Al told me to contact you bc we just miles a part from each other. How weird is it that we are literally ten mins. from each other and have so many friends in common on our Flists and we've never 'met.' That is just too weird. I'm Tee, btw and if you don't mind, I'm friending you. Congrats on your engagement. WHite Oak is gorgeous.
Smooch,
Tee

How cool, I've seen your comments on some of our mutual friends' pages but never knew you were so close! Are you in Baton Rouge? We're in BR close to Denham Springs. I friended you back! :)

Thanks, hon. I'm in Denham Springs (married into it, not from here originally). LOL I usually tell people I'm from 'south, south Baton Rouge.' ;P

Thanks for the add!

LOL! My husband-to-be was raised in Denham, though his family is from New Orleans originally. When people ask, he always says he's from Baton Rouge too, hee!

I've read some of your fanfic, it's awesome! One of these days I'll get around to writing some of my own, but for now I'm just a reader/fan. It's nice to have a fellow HP fanatic so nearby- most of my friends LIKE HP, but they aren't OBSESSED like me! Lol!
