Haven't posted in a bit.  Mostly because I sprained my ankle very badly and ended up in the ER the week before last!  It was so painful, I thought it had to be broken, but luckily it wasn't.  I spent most of last week with my foot propped up, reading book after book.  It would've been wonderful if I hadn't been in such pain and on crutches.  But it

Oh honey - that sucks!! I sprained my ankle in high school, and it was one of the worst pains ever!!

The engagement party sounds fun - I giggled at the comment that you weren't exactly sober but were pretty sure you hadn't said anything too embarrassing!! :)

I know! The nurse said some sprains hurt worse than breaks, ad after that, I believe her!

I'll post the pics soon...I'm anxious to see them myself! My grandfather took pictures for me, and I'm a little worried there may be some 'drunk pictures' in there, lol!

I'm glad you had a great time!! It can be a bit nerve-wracking when the families meet up - but I'm sure you both have fabulous families :) Can't wait for the spam!

LOL...when I went into the ER I was delirious with pain and I kept babbling to the nurse that I couldn't be married while on crutches. She thought it was hilarious. But don't worry, I will try to be more careful from now on (though I was born clumsy, so we'll see...)!

So...not to freak you out - and this isn't really a klutzy thing...but at my brother's wedding...we were all at the hair salon getting purdy and my sister and I are putting in our new SIL's princess crown...and she drops to the floor and has a seizure! the whole time she was in the hospital (getting sedated cuz she smacked her shoulder hard) she was like - don't flatten my hair - don't remove my tiara! hahahaha

But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you eat really well the morning of your wedding or that someone is there to catch you, or that you don't have to worry about a thing! :D

OMG! That was probably one of those things that was really scary at the time, but that you can laugh about now! I'm assuming they did actually get married that day?

I will DEFINITELY make sure to eat the morning of the wedding, especially after hearing that story! And I'll tell my sister that, as maid of honor, her job is to walk behind me at all times in case I fall! (And actually CATCH me, not just stand there and laugh as I hit the ground...) :P
