1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Visited another country; visited/lived in New York City and Boston; made an apple pie; planned out my thesis; got tipsy; smoked hookah; ice skated; ate lots of new things, especially cheeses and meats
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make one.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, but my great-grandmother had a very hard year. She lost her son and her longtime lover.

France
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you didn't have in 2006?
An independent income, a college degree, and a graduate school acceptance letter with a fat aid package, and maybe something shiny
7. What date(s) from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 1 - my first Beltane with my person :)
August 24 - I landed in France
November 20-25 - I did my 21st birthday right, including Thanksgiving dinner at the Eiffel Tower!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Not getting depressed about being so far from home, and not bitching out my ex-boss and quitting.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Um, I have failed to make enough money to be on my own, but I don't think that counts.
10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?
A few colds, only one of which even made me miss class.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My France experience, bought first with my blood, sweat, tears, and pain, and then with my money.

Everyone. Good job, everyone.

Thomas and Sasha.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Bus tickets, metro passes, and food.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My person's graduation, introducing him to my family, and France.

richer or poorer? Technically richer, but that's only because I got more aid than I needed this semester. That money will be used for rent and food over FWT.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Spent time with people, not been shy, done more for myself.

Let people get to me.

With my family.

I was already there, but yes, more so.

No, but there are a couple of people I may never forgive.

I haven't seen enough films this year to say. I don't even know what's come out.

I turned 21, went to class, skipped a lecture to work on a paper, and saw Cyrano de Bergerac at La Comedie Francaise.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If my person had been able to come to Paris with me.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
I have started indulging my love for boots and heels, and I've started to want to wear something other than grey, blue, or black.

Bennington and almost everything/one associated with it; my family.

There is more to learning and living than grades. Sometimes, the grades don't even get close to actually quantifying your experience.
