I think I'm going to start posting wedding ideas in here because I don't have a journal for this stuff anymore. I did have one on ultimatewedding.com, but sadly that site closed AGAIN. I was so upset. It was far and away the best general wedding-related message board on the internet. And it's gone. So now I use the boards on The Knot a little bit.

Man, I had a lot of fun planning Lykira's wedding for her - but holy hell was that hard work. You've never lived until you've folded pamphlets for three hours at 2 a.m. in a faux bridesmaid dress (I didn't want to be her bridesmaid but I still had to dress up whether I was one or not, lol).

I'm sure I'll be folding something at 2 a.m in a few months. lol

My sister's getting married on the 30th and even though I'm not very involved in the planning, I still see how much work it is. My mom's doing most of the work since my sister has to keep graduate school as her top priority and she has to do lists posted every where. As exciting as the wedding is I can't wait till it's over so my mom can finally get a break. The people who find wedding planning fun are probably those who don't have to juggle planning with other things (like school or work) or it is their job. *shrug* who knows. Good luck with the rest of your planning! Hope things go smoothly.
