It's been quite a month. All sorts of things have been happening. Boys have been happening, Work has been happening. Life has been happening.
Well... I almost got fired a couple weeks ago, because Pluto threw bread at me, and I threw it back, and so I got a documented discussion for poor judgment. The guy who was helping Pluto that day had been trying to date me for a while. It was never going to work, for several reasons, but almost costing me my job of four years, and embarrassing me won't help. We don't speak anymore.
I will say that writing a witness statement saying, "I threw bread at Pluto. I'm very sorry. It won't happen again." is very awkward.
Also, I've run into a couple terrible attendants recently. I had one that yelled at Chip onstage because he wasn't moving fast enough (he was). I've been threatened with a reprimand for not moving fast enough.
Here's my stance on dining: I know these people have paid big bucks to eat pretty plain food just so they can meet the characters. If all they wanted was an autograph and a picture, they can get that anywhere in the park. They pay the money to have an experience with the characters. I was told by a manager: "You don't have time to hug every guest."
Yes, I do. And I think there's something truly wrong with this company if that has become true. I have time to hug everyone that wants a hug.
I have got to do some really fun things recently, like help with the Welcome Show, and be with the Munks in Tomorrowland with their Space suits, and join them at the Chistmas Party for some Dancing.
<--My friend Brian and Chip.
My garden is still beautiful, which is what excites me about living in Central Florida: I'm growing tomatoes in December!
A few pictures of the formal:
My friend Rob and I.
One of my favorite attendants and me.
That's called "Tango Pose" in the biz. This is me and my friend Virgina.
Phil, me, and Meg from Hercules.
Me and my friend Lucas.
Just a neat picture of me getting in my car after the formal.
Also, I auditioned for Disney Live on Friday. I didn't get it, but I did enjoy myself at the audition, and the casting directors paid a lot of attention to me, so I don't think it was total loss. They keep your head shot and resume on file for a year, so if someone drops or something, I'm hoping they'll remember me.
Because it had been so long since I acted, I needed to take head shots. Nicel's a professional photographer, so we walked around Epcot and snapped pictures. I actually like a good deal of them:
Disney Ducks aren't afraid of anything.
Here's the headshot I chose:
It even has my Chipmunk necklace!
And finally, a few random pictures from the last few weeks:
Impromtu photo shoot in Morroco.
I joined my friend Clara to participare in "To Write Love On Her Arms," an event to raise awareness for teen suicide and cutting.
Ale House last week with my friend Allison.
With my friend Kristin, who's friends with Nicel.
The first time I went out with Nicel and met Allison, we saw this guy with amazingly tall hair, and I dared Allison's friend Dana to touch it, but she wouldn't, so Allison and I did the honors. It turns out he's English, and he's named William, so we call him "William, like the Shakespeare." He got termmed, so you don't really need to know anything else about him.
It's since become a tradition to touch someone's hair at Ale House when we go. So here that it. This is some server, so we might see him again.
Nicel and me. I don't know what I'm laughing about.
I think that about covers my insane amount of pictures.
I'm really, really going to try to write more often so this doesn't happen again!
