So I've only just opened this up, and I'm already shaking with excitement. I'll leave a better comment when I've actually read it but I am just so excited right now that I actually ended a Skype call mid-sentence to read it.

I have got the biggest smile on my face and am honest-to-god trying not to tear up. Everything, from Bill at the beginning to Paw-Paw at the end, was perfect. I just. I didn't think I could love this verse any more and then this happened. You're incredible.

Getting some Babe/Gene lovin' was basically all that I've ever wanted.

So, um, basically, you have a way with dealing with intimacy that I could never do and it's amazing.

And I love every time Gene refers to Snaf as Merl-Francis.

And Alley, omg.

I come from the hollywood school of "roll over and fade to black while using vague imagery." It's basically the only way I can write intimacy b/c I'm odd.

I pretty much have to catch myself from writing Merl-Francis every single time I write Snafu. I need to stop it.

Omg, Nat, the next full story has so much Bill and Luz and everyone, that I just HAD to put some Bill in here.

Also, I was watching Crossroads while writing this, and there's a snippet I wrote somewhere wherein Alley was stopping by the house to get stitched up again, so I was all, "You know what this story needs? SOME ALLEY." I seriously have no will power. Or sense.

Nothing wrong with that! I think it's highly respectable anyway, and, when done right, a million times hotter. And you always do it right.

Merl-Francis is pretty much the other thing I call Snaf in my head; it really does suit him.

OMG YES. Hahaha, I've been so caught up in Leckie and TP as of late, it really is awesome to rediscover all the feelings I have for everyone in BoB.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I see both Gene and Babe switiching depending on their partner, their need, the situation, and obviously with each other. This time I felt Gene needed to top from the bottom, so to speak.

I'm planning the next big fic in the 'verse so that will take some time but hopefully a ficlet will be up soon.
