AAAAHHHHH they are so friggin adorable, it makes me want to weep. And rewatch the last season.

Nasir pinched his brow. “To what, conquer the free peoples of Middle Earth? You know how I fear about megalomania, Agron.”

ETA: Also you are totally making excited about this fandom again, last time I tried to venture in to fic I couldn't be at peace with how Nasir was written almost every damn time. Here he is unsurprisingly perfect <333

These two are just really adorable and snarky together (like all my favorites) and I truly enjoy writing them. I think fandom, for the most part, has gotten better at writing Nasir. He's not weak, quiet, perfect, unsure. He's got attitude, can and will follow his own advice and heart, has the ability to easily lie and the play whatever part is needed, has one HELL of a temper, and has his own friendships completely apart from Agron. (He is clearly much closer to Naevia and Mira and I honestly think when Oenomaus was healing they bonded b/c there are scenes of them smiling and toughing in other in greeting in the background.) Nasir can be the rational one but he can just as easily lose his shit as Agron can. I clearly have a lot of feelings about Nasir's character and I get kind of seething-mad when I see fic where he's shown as being weak or a victim or whatever. Nasir, at the end of it all, is a survivor and will do what he must to get through shit.

Thank you! I always try to woke at least some of GenKill into my panfandom fics but there will be a lot more Poke, Brad, Ray, and Walt to come in the modern-au fics.
