Aw, I'm all full of the warm fuzzies now.

I love the way you write Babe - his voice is always so perfect and I always enjoy it when he gets all exasperated over the world around him (though he wouldn't have it any other way, right?). And of course, Snafu being a little shit and Eddie being the calm voice of reason are always good things to read.

Though actually, I think this time, it was Paw-Paw Roe who stole the show. This exchange here -

“What are you even doing here, Old Man River? Don’t you have a swamp house to haunt?” Babe asked.

Paw Paw threw a green bean at Babe’s head with perfect aim. “You such a shit, Edward. Good thing it’s just what my Gene-Baptiste deserves."

- that made me both snicker out loud and does a great job of conveying pretty much everything you need to know about his and Babe's relationship to one another in a handful of lines. Just brilliant.

Thank you, Skew! I aim for the warm fuzzies as always. Babe is probably the easiest character of all fandoms for me to write. I maybe over-identify a wee bit too muhc.
