I arrived in Fairbanks Thursday afternoon for a week long break from the North Slope. I didn't realize how much I needed this break until I stepped out of the airport into the warm, sweet air of a beautiful sunny day. Seeing trees for the first time in a month in a half is a profound experience, as well as seeing lush, brilliantly verdant
