I'd say that was a healthy attitude. I like knowing things about people, but only because I'm a nosy little person ^^;. Still, like you I think it's a good idea to have some secrets, nothing bad or anything because that just leads to trouble, but like you said; things that make you you. Then again I'm guilty of being way too honest about myself so I'm not sure if there are things about me that are actually a scecret ^^;.

Hehe! Nothing wrong with being nosey~ Probably it's better than my 'trust everyone' attitude anyway >_> But yeah, I think holding onto YOU in a long-term relationship can be really difficult and having a few things that are JUST YOURS does help that. Not secrets, exactly, just thinks that make you YOU ^^

The last line about it not being fair. You made me realize I'd forgotten that; I'd love to have the opportunity to tell the other person whatever I wanted about myself, but I can be completely unfair and possibly hypocritical. I probably wouldn't want them to know every little thing automatically, even if I'd like that myself. >.>

XDD I'm the same way~ i LOVE to talk about myself, TO A POINT. For someone as open as I am I have a habit of clamming up all of a sudden when things go in a direction I don't like~

Awwww. I barely ever clam up, but I have this really self-deprecating way of talking, so like... Sometimes my attitude towards what I'm talking about changes, which is a good indicator of how I feel about what I'm saying. Does that make sense?

I also do best if I feel like my brain has finally come up with the PERFECT way of explaining something, even if it was something I normally wouldn't want to say.

Oh yes, that makes perfect sense! I do that too, but only when I'm really upset/angry/nervous about something, otherwise I just... Steer clean of talking about my own feelings all-together for the same reason - I don't see why I should really matter to most people >_>

XD I know what you mean! Although in my case when that happens? i just normally talk REAL FAST and get all my words knotted up~ Fail XD;
