And we're here again, aren't we? I'm back to gush, to rant, to just adore. Admittedly, I just fell down the stairs five minutes ago (I tripped over a cat...), so it may not be as...intelligible as I'd like, but I have to do it.

Once again, you've given us something fantastic. You've given us something brilliant and terrifying and humanizing and grounding. You've given us a piece that draws us into poor Gilbert's tormented mind and his desperation to cling to something because of his own weakness. And you do it all so wonderfully; you make it so real. You side-step the all too easy trap of whining angst and give us something tangible, something that leaves a chill on the skin and a knot in the stomach.

Admittedly, this kind of broken, twisted, dependence is why I 'ship Gilbert and Break. That violence, that frustration, and that need for one another...They hate it, but they need it. And Gilbert's desperation for Oz, the fact that his master not being there is all that's keeping him going, is such a central, wonderful, painful,

Oh god, another Gil/Break shiperrrrr~ Yes yes yes. I love these two so much, their dynamic is my absolute favorite to write for. I feel like they compliment each other so well, and in the most dark sense possible as well; I seriously think I could write these two all day every day and discover something new about their relationship every time.
