You have such a mastery of shorter pieces. I've only known one other fanfiction author to be able to put so much in so few words, and it's always made me envious. I can never do this; I always have to ramble (see my comments for examples...>>) and when I see things like this...It's amazing.
Even with third person narration, you manage to bring us into Gilbert's head, you trap us in his own fragmented world where Oz is really the only light he has left. You make that feeling so real; you make your readers feel like they ought to cling to that same slim hope.
