I got a call from my father a little while ago.  The City of Alexandria has completed their internal investigation.  I am reasonably certain they are admitting no wrong doing but they gave the officer who shot my nephew the second harshest punishment available without criminal charges being brought against him.  The harshest punishment would have

I'm glad they censured the officer and I pray he and his colleagueslearn never to make that kind of decision again. So sorry for you and yours, LT, but I am glad these steps are helping you all to find some healing...*hug!*
