Bat Update

We released the little guy into a nearby garden just after dark. He shuffled into the deeper recesses of a tree and stayed there and he was pretty mobile in trying to get out of the box and wriggling out of our hands. We checked his wings and they appear to be ok, no sign of damage or injury so he probably just needs to destress and eat something./

How's the little fliedermaus doing now?

No clue, I went to take a look at the place where we'd left him this morning and there was no sign of him either in the vine that we'd placed him in or on the ground nearby. It was a secluded garden close to where I found him and there aren't many cats in the area (most are kept exclusively indoors) so I think it's pretty likely that he straightened himself up and flew back to his nest.
