The Big 3 Detroit automakers put themselves--and the country--in a bind, but they need help.

I knew they were their own worse problems, but I had no idea they were this clueless.

When the one exec couldn't answer a simple question about how much money his company needed in the short term to continue operating, it was clear to me that he's a suit, who sits behind a desk and plays with the company income.

When the automakers get whatever aid they're going to get, they need to be kept on a leash and a housecleaning will be in order.
