I am really loving this. The way you are weaving the two timelines together is great, and I love the exploration of Kara and Laura's relationship. Looking forward to part 2!

Thank you so much -- I'm so glad you enjoyed! Laura/Kara really doesn't get enough play on the show so it was a lot of fun to write. Add Bill to the mix and it gets really fun -- his POV in the last part.

Heading over to comment at SI as well, but this piece deserved two comments of love. I love the in-depth Kara and Laura interaction and the juxtaposition between the early and the new relationship. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Awww, thanks for all the love! I've always felt that Kara wasn't entirely truthful in that scene where she held Laura at gunpoint, and it was fun to go back to Kobol and explore her motivations and what her relationship with Laura would have been like back then. So happy you liked. Thanks for letting me know! More tomorrow :).

Ugh, I totally get the pain that is moving. If we ever had to move again, we'd need a backhoe just to clear all the accumulated stuff :D. Best of luck with the move, hopefully it's to a place you'll love.

TMY is such a lovely fic, I do hope you eventually get back to it.

Um ... as you've probably already noticed, no part 3. I've been working a long time between this and AMOPS (the Christmas in July one) ... I do have another planned (and a little more time with my youngest in school every second day)
