Happy Halloween!
This has always been my favourite holiday! I even have a daughter born on Halloween (I distinctly remember throwing all of our Halloween candy and pumpkins at our neighbours on the way to the hospital).

I was out with my boys this evening and they had such a blast! some of the stuff is so impressive, it's crazy! I'd love to be able to do something like that.

I gave out candy and then went around and checked out the pumpkins later .. it's so cool to see what people come up with!
My kids picked what they wanted and we just printed the simpler looking stencils from the internetz and pinned them to the pumpkins. I think we ended up with "our version" of the original stencils (I had no energy left for Boba's jetpack, and I left out a few of the finer details). We seriously have very little carving skill and none of the cool pumpkin cutting tools -- you could totally do it, too!
