OKAY. Encore.
I love the way you contrasted the vividness of colours of the sunrise and her clothing versus the discolouration on her body during and post New Caprica. So much beauty but then so much sadness and pain, that really worked for me.
I especially loved this line: Fall on Earth was a riot of gold, orange and brown. The only red he saw was in the sunsets. Like it literally gave me goosebumps. I could totally picture Bill searching for physical reminders of Laura on Earth, but always feeling like the little glimpses he got were just never enough.
This felt almost haunted, like I could feel the ghost of Laura throughout the fic, though she was always just beyond my reach.

I'm glad the colours worked for you -- I was hoping it all wouldn't be too much. 'Red' was a deceptively difficult prompt in the end.
