Hey Valerie! Thanks so much for you comments *hugs fan*. There are a lot of NC stories out there and I wanted mine to be a little different (though one can't help covering some of the same territory). I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Thanks for taking the time to let me know :)

Markos is Baltar's minister of Public Security ... he heads up the police force and deals with security issues for the colony. He was not a supporter of Laura and thus doesn't respect her very much.

Finally made it to LJ, can you believe? Maybe there is hope for me yet...

I love the changes, especially with the tough Laura routine :) Can't wait to see the next one!

Yeah, I wanted to do a bit more with the first scene and it intrigued me that Markos inadvertently saves her.

As soon as I get this challenge fic out the door then I'll be able to finish up the next chapter :)
