Spokane Comic-Con was over the weekend. I got mentioned in the Inlander for it! They said "Comic artist Lars Brown will be there" Yes! I do live here too, by the way.

I did this for the show.

Nice job on that (acrylic?) painting. I also really like the Kurt Busiek one. Nice and bulky.

It is indeed acrylic. I'm glad you like it, I think I gotta figure out what I'm exactly doing with a piece before I start. I began with the building the background and it came out great, but I don't think I emulated how I'd done that one part so the rest came out pretty patchwork. I think I fare better with watercolor, but I have more canvas to test out stuff.

Gladly. I've been off it for awhile, hence the dump.

I saw you mentioned college classes, I've actually been taking a few myself (to keep my teaching cert active) and I've sorta been trying to teach myself guitar and harmonica. Also I have a kid on the way, pfew.

I'm still on Deviantart. I've only put about two pieces on DA since last December though. Or was it I hadn't posted on LJ since then? Probably both.

Anyway me and my wife are expecting a baby and I've been working on some new projects so that's been keeping me busy. It'll be good to see you again!
