Mr Whedon has announced in a comic con interview that there is a chance of a second Serenity movie.   He does say that it will probably depend upon how well the Serentiy Collectors Edition sells as to him getting the go ahead to bring Captain Tight Pants and Company back to the Big Screen.!

The chances of a new movie are probably very small, even if the DVD sales are good, because the 1st movie didn't do so well at the box office.

But I'll be praying for a miracle anyway, and I'll try to pick up the new DVD!

We can live in hope. I know that he has enough for 3 movies in total. Maybe the fact that it has outvoted Star Wars in several polls for best Scifi movie might help too. But I will defo be buying the new edition on Pay day...... just in case *G*
