    Yesterday was the High Holiday of medical students everywhere:  Match Day.  For Med School seniors, it is the Day of Reckoning:  the day when angels descend with a Shofar G'dol encased in a white envelope -- i.e. the day that The Computer spits out the locations where the senior med students have been placed for their residency and the smart ( Read more... )

I'm sorry that I can't be there for your wedding, but I really can't afford to travel now. If I'd had a steady job still, I'd be there. As it is, I wish you the best and regret that I'll never meet your husband.
