those used to wash up on the beach in florida all the time. during hurricane season you would hear reports all over the place about people getting third degree burns from man of war still floundering in the sand.

for a while beaches here were getting tons of tiny jellyfish that had sails washed up on shore.

the sails, were they genetic mutations or some strange breed? sea life is so vulnerable.

it's not in my immediate travel plans, but it is on the agenda for the near future.
