Man, I was just browsing through classmates.com. What a racket they have going. To do anything worthwhile you have to fork out some cash. Do any of you guys use it? It's nice to browse the message boards and see if there are any new news from former classmates, but even just to respond you have to pay.

Nope... I signed up for free, but never bothered with any of the e-mails and never even looked anyone up. I'm on thefacebook.com and friendster.com though, both of which are free, and there are some LAS people on there.

I accidently signed up for classmates.com a couple of years ago while trying to track down people I went to high school with before LAS. Every once in a while I'll get an e-mail listing new members that would have been in my graduating class, the year above, and the year below, and a messy e-mail from someone I never went to high school with but knows me, and put my name on the mailing list. I don't remember ever paying, though.

And, like Nat, I'm on Friendster; I've tracked down a lot more people there than classmates.com.
