Yay, now we have more people!! I'm gonna try to get Nat and Anu and Paul to join soon too. Liz, you pump up to convincing factor too ok?
Woo-hoo for LAS.

Random memory of the day: Cheese on toast. *blurp* How the hell did Carlos Miranda manage to eat 36 slices in one day? Cardboard with slime as far as I was concered.

ack, they still served that stuff? What was it called... Croute Fromage?

There was one thing my friends and I noticed when we went there. At the beginning of every semester the food was pretty good. But as the semester dwindled on and came to a close, the food was sucking badly. We think the Chef had a problem with cooking and money. See, I think he got money at the beginning of every semester to buy all the food. Well, he stocked up on spices and such right away, and ordered the more perishable food when necessary. As time went by, he was probably getting really tight on the money part and couldn't splurge on making the food taste good. IT was getting kind of bland by the end of the semester. However, if someone were to visit the school, the food was good that day.

My skin crawls when I think of cheese on toast. I haven't eaten it since, and the closest I've come to it is a tuna melt!

Once there was a chicken wing with feathers on it. lizzie_hair August 10 2003, 23:35:56 UTC
ditto on not eating cheese on toast.

And I agree about Chef. There was one point where there was baby corn at the salad bar, which went fast during meal times because it was so yummy, and after a couple of weeks they stopped serving it because it cost too much money.

Ew. Ew ew ew, I agree, tortalini was good, and leftover pancakes, but... ew.
