Hooray for SciFi friday, when I'm glued to the TV for two hours (I never got into Atlantis, alas).
At least you get an hour break in there. I do enjoy Atlantis. It took me a little while but now I love it. Battlestar took me awhil too, I thought it was too dark at first now I love it.
Glad to hear you'll be around. It's great that you want to do that though. I considered it for awhile, it'll be a great experience I'm sure.
Despite running in cross-country in high school, I never have liked it at all as an activity to do on my own. I do like biking and walking and hiking, because they operate much better in service of actually getting someplace interesting.(When you run, you generally put yourself in a state only suitable for going home and taking a shower)
You should definately try pilates, it can be interesting with the right teacher.
Well, I certainly hope that you get into OCS, rather than going through straight enlistment.
Good luck with Jon, I'm afraid I don't remember what I was like when I was thirteen. Young and earnest, no doubt. Although to hear old compatriots tell it I must have been a handful for my responsible guardians. I should ask my parents what they thought.

As for the Navy bit, I'll be around for a while. It's a long application process.
