Rice rations

It has come to my attention that not all of you were aware that we've been rationing the rice. Quarter cup, uncooked, per person, per day. Which would explain why some of you have rather full jars of rice waiting for you in the storage cave ( Read more... )

Keep it and dole it out to the others. I don't need it.

[ooc: ...Haha, I was looking for the rice rations post because I was curious about something I couldn't quite put my finger on. The word "rations" I think was it xD;
Because I don't eat rice for every meal, mostly just lunch and dinner, but if I do, I'd have a whole cup uncooked per serving, and I'd have cleared out the island's supply in a week! Poor guys, I can't imagine living there \: I don't like most seafood, so I need my rice, vegetables, tofu, things like that. Noodles if there's some sort of soup stock. Home comfortsssssssssss.
So yeah, this post had very little to do with anything, I just felt like sharing sympathies :'D]

A quarter cup, dried, makes a fair amount once cooked...if you aren't a rice fiend ;-) (I can be a bit of a rice fiend myself!)

[Not that it's important, but I consulted my mom over the matter because I couldn't get my head around having only a quarter cup a day xDD

She says it might be because I'm talking about an actual rice cup, and ours uses the Japanese measuring system so it's a little less than a "cup" I'm otherwise familiar with :x]
