Wow, is there ever a lot of jumping to conclusions over there. I realize that they amended the post to say they'd delete accounts ONLY if there were no posts AND if nobody had logged on in 2 years...but people are so quick to jump on the "wahh wahh, LJ sucks, they LIES to us precious!" bandwagon. Nobody is going to delete your deceased friend's journal, nor are they going to delete your RPG journal. So long as there's one post AND/OR you have logged in within the last two years...you're cool.

I just get so frustrated with people not reading.

I have a couple of ancient, empty accounts. I'd be cool with them disappearing.

I didn't even bother reading the comments because I knew what the tone would be. It's like the St Cloud Times comments, which I read only if I feel emotionally invested or masochistic. Seriously, sometimes public forums really AREN'T a good thing. o_O

I made sure to log into my writing journal because it had been a couple of years, and I was really loathe to lose it. 'Cuz, y'know, someday I might actually have time and brainpower to create like that again.

SCtimes comments are at the same time nauseating as they are fascinating to me. Especially whenever there's an article about the library. I'm pretty sure that some of the commenters are posting nasty things about the library...while they're using our computers.

I have an LJ in which I have posted all of my journal entries from the age of 8 to...I'm not sure, 23? 24? Colorado, anyway. Right up until I started this LJ, so it would have been 2002. I logged in over there a little bit ago.

I used to write so much, too. I wish there were something like the Loft up here. SCSU notwithstanding, is there anywhere to take a writing class around here, or any writing groups?
