What next?

My hours just got cut at work. Significantly. I'm going from 8 hours a day, Mon - Fri, to 6 hours a day Mon - Thurs. 40 hours a week to 24 hours a week.

That's bad news. But could have been worse.

They considered letting me go entirely. So yeah, given those two options it could be much worse than working 24 hours a week and still having medical insurance.

But it still sucks.

I've given serious thought to whether I wish I'd stayed up there with 1/2 the mortgage payment and half again the income. And I've decided I don't. This is where I want to be. But paying the bills is going to be tough!

We moved down to an apartment temporarily to catch up, then Laurence's bonuses disappeared (because they're based on sales)and gas quadrupled. I feel your pain.
