ill admit it...im a tad worried

since the iv pain killers started wearing off yesterday i noticed i felt kind of sick, i took a vicoden i knew i woudnt have enough if i kept taking 2, so took 1, it didnt help, so i ended up taking a second an hour later...still nothing, 9:30 comes around i can take 2 more, i do so, the pain still extreemly intense, the vicoden not doing much more

1) Vicoden doesn't work for everyone, I know it sure doesn't work for me(makes me sicker but doesn't touch pain)

2) Do you have to go to same ER? Is there a different clinic or Dr you can go to? If it is worse I would go back, and this time if the Dr has such crappy manners ask for someone else or make a complaint before you leave.

Yes. As soon as someone can come home to take you, you should go to the ER if any of the swelling has gotten worse, as the infection might be moving to a different location. Also because the painkillers don't seem to be working. Better safe, right? And be sure to mention the violent way yesterday's packing was removed so they can be more gentle this time!!!
