Nice of you to say that, Mr. President

But the real question still remains unanswered: Will the president now allow gay US citizens held without charges or trial under the NDAA to get married before he orders their summary execution under the Holder Doctrine?

Sorry you've missed the news. The president has endorsed and signed into law a bill that allows the federal government to hold and US citizens indefinitely without trial (he threatened to veto the bill unless the amendment exempting US citizens was removed). This bill is included in the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act). His attorney general has recently ruled that any US citizen, anywhere in the world, can be summarily executed without charges, trial, or any other legal recourse, merely on a president's say-so (the "Holder Doctrine"). The president has today also upheld the "right" of North Carolina to deny gay people equal rights under the 14th amendment. Needless to say, I'm not as enthusiastic about any of these developments as many of my "liberal" friends seems to be.
