New Shirt!

Well, I had a glass of wine with dinner which lowered my inhibitions *just* enough to give myself permission to buy a shirt from modcloth. Yay!

It's a spring/summer top, but it is so cute -- I think I will wear it with a cardigan, and either a denim pencil skirt or white shorts and tall wedge sandals. Hope it fits.

Being 100 lbs means one good sized ( Read more... )

Hehe. Wine makes me tipsy with just one glass. And I am double your size, so it's not that ;)

But shopping is good, inebriated or otherwise!

Haha, thanks! I told J that it's easier to shop after the wine, and he snatched my glass away :P

Miss you! Are you surviving the snow?

That shirt is so cute, and you'll look beautiful in it! And it's a good price! Yay!

Ugh, what horrible neighbors! I mean about smashing your neighbors' window. It's sad that they have domestic disturbances amongst themselves. I had some neighbors like that for a while. I think one lived in one apartment and the other in another building - or maybe they lived together in one and had friends in the other, I don't know - but they would shout at each other outside, practically in my back yard, as they went back and forth between the two buildings. I called the cops on them too. I was scared the first time - but then I realized that they're just shouty, and the girl was actually being more agressive and shouty than the man, so then I stopped worrying and just felt awkward.

Aw, thanks! I'm scaring the postman, hovering at the window to see if he's carrying a package. I think he'd be used to that with us by now, though.

They're pretty awful. It's not just the constant fighting, there are drugs over there (pot and meth). I know they sell the meth (the propositioned the kid across the street the day they moved in) and I know they smoke pot like crazy because we can't play in the backyard from 4-5 pm because of the fog of smoke. Anyway, I always call on domestic fights because you just never know when it is going to turn physical, and if it were ME, I'd want someone to call. I just don't get why they don't freaking break up already. I don't think it's abusive from the sound of things, I just think they hate each other.
