Finally, after wanting one for SO LONG I finally have the one Dr Who item of clothing that I have been coveting! Staying up til 3:30am to bid was SOOOOO worth it! :P

I first made my Rose Tyler Idiot's Lantern dress in 2006, debuting it at Sydney Supanova. At the time I couldn't afford the 3+m of candy pink delustered satin at $20pm!! So I ended up

I'm so excited!! I can't wait to receive the package! Though it will probably be a week or two since it's coming from England. I can see myself wearing it with normal clothes too :P

Heheh thanks so much! I'm so excited about it! It's always been my favourite too, but that's because I love all things vintage! When I first sat down to watch the episode, my boyfriend of the time prefaced it by saying that as soon as I saw Rose's outfit, I would want to make it! He was so right! I made it later that year for a convention, and even with brown hair I was recognised! This time I definitely plan on having a wig!

But I totally agree, I like that it's more of a costume. It's definitely one of the more memorable Rose outfits :D

It totally is :D I'm so excited! It's not often you can actually buy something so exact from a movie or tv show! And definitely not for such a great price! yay!
